Weighted Swiss Ball Crunch Exericse

The weighted swiss ball crunch exercse on a medicine ball tones the abs and works out the front core muscles of your abdominals. It's an exercise that works great for your core muscles. This is definetly an exercise that can and will tighten up those ab muscles.

This exercise will develop the entire core muscles of your abdominals if done correctly and properly.

Here are some tips to understand and implement as well as a description of how to do the exercise:




Tips:
  • Be sure to keep your feet flat when lying on the ball.
  • You can also brace your feet against a wall for better support. It's recommended for a beginner.
  • Do not twist your legs or torso when doing the exercise.
  • Start off slow to keep total control of your body.
  • Keep firmly squeezing your abs.


Swiss Crunch Exercise
  • Begin by sitting on the medicine ball with the legs about shoulder width apart while holding a 5-10 pound weights in your hands.
  • Then roll back until the medicine ball is against your back and your torso is parallel with the floor.
  • While holding onto the weight with both hands, place the weight on your chest or behind your head.
  • Then firmly squeeze your abs and crunch up as much as possible.
  • Slowly go back down to starting position while keeping total control.
  • Repeat the process as needed.
