What The Zone diet plan offer is a system that concentrates on making you think about good nutrition. having a diet that is high in carbohydrates, low in protein, and fats wrong. What To Eat On The Zone Diet Plan


This diet program is not recommending that you eat fewer calories than what you are currently consuming, just only different ones.

  • By having a small amount of protein at every meal. The food should be the size of your palm or a small chicken breast.

  • Having your favorite carbohydrates, but in a small amount which includes brown rice, pasta, papaya, mango, banana, dry breakfast cereal, bread, bagel, tortilla, carrots, and fruit juices.

Dairy products are not highly recommended, but The Zone diet covers a small percentage to them, besides explaining how quick they release glucose. However, dairy products is really just there.




The Zone Diet Tips


PROTEIN

Tips:

  • Look at your hand to determine the right amount of protein to eat.
  • To eat protein it should be equal to the to the size and thickness of your palm.
  • Protein does include chicken, fish, beef, turkey, egg whites, low-fat cheeses, tofu, veal or low-fat pork, and so much more.

CARBOHYDRATES

Tips:

  • When going to consume the right amount of carbohydrates such as vegetables, it should be similar to the size of curling both of your hands into a fist to determine how much to eat.
  • When consuming carbohydrate such as sugar or starch, it should only be a fistful.

FATS

Tips:

  • Fats are important!
  • Any extra fat added to your food should equal the size of your thumb and not any bigger.
  • And these are foods such as butter and olive oil.

FOODS THAT GET THE THUMBS DOWN

Tips:

  • Sugar such as Bread, Pasta, Potatoe, Rice, Bagels, Cereals, Juices, Sodas, Alcohol, and caffeine.
  • however, these foods are not to good for your, but you can have them from time to time.

FRUITS THAT GETS THE THUMBS DOWN

Tips:

  • However, this diet program allow all foods, but there are some fruits that are too high in sugar that should be consumed in a very small amount.
  • Those fruits that you should only consume a small amount of are Bananas, Figs, Prunes, Raisins and Grapes.
