Swiss Torso Twist Exericse

The swiss torso twist exercse on a medicine ball works out the oblique and the core muscles of your abdominals. It's an exercise that works great for your core oblique muscles. This is definetly an exercise that can and will tighten up those ab muscles.

This exercise will develop the entire oblique and core muscles of your abdominals if done correctly and properly.

Here are some tips to understand and implement as well as a description of how to do the exercise:




Tips:
  • Be sure to keep your feet flat when lying on the ball.
  • You can also brace your feet against a wall for better support. It's recommended for a beginner.
  • Do not twist your legs when doing the exercise.
  • Start off slow to keep total control of your body.
  • Keep your arms straight out and your hands together.


Torso Twist Exercise
  • Begin by sitting on the medicine ball.
  • Then roll back until the medicine ball is against your back and your torso is parallel with the floor.
  • Place both arms straight out up towards the ceiling and put your hands together.
  • Twist only your torso to your right until your arms are parallel with the floor.
  • Twist only your torso to your left unitl your arms are parallel with the floor.
  • Repeat the process as needed.
