Machine Stiff Leg Deadlift Exercise

The machine stiff leg deadlift is a great exercise and muscle building program that will not only help develop muscle growth, but also strength.  This is a great strength building exercise for all athletes including football players, baseball players, and etc.

However, if you want to become a bodybuilder, then building strong hamstrings is an essential part of succeeding.  You have to look proportion to be the best, and by having big quads and small hamstrings will definetly keep you from winning any competitions.

Here you will find a step by step description on how to properly do this exercise:




Description
  1. With the Smith Machine, firmly grab the barbell.
  2. With an overhand grip, grip the bar about shoulder width apart.
  3. Hang the barbell in front of the body.
  4. Bend in the waist and keeping the legs as straight as possible to lower the barbell to the floor.
  5. Be sure to focus on the buttocks and hamstrings area to pull the barbell upwards.
  6. It is very important to have your back straight throughout the exercise.
