The concept of having six
pack abs is simple, but putting what you want to do into action is not
simple. It will take dedication, motivation, time, and patience to get
the abs you desire, but it will be worth it in the end.
If you have a layer of fat over those abs, then it will be nearly
impossible to get to see that six pack of abs.
If you do not have a set of tight abs, then you will need to get rid of
the fat and then tone your ab muscles,
so in that case, it will take time.
- Motivation is the key
to success. Regardless of what your intentions are for,
having the right attitude towards your goal is important. If not, it is
only a matter of time before failure.
- Take the changes into your lifestyle slow. Begin your
day by eating breakfast. If you have difficulty eating breakfast, start
with a couple glasses of water or a large cup of coffee as soon as you
wake up in the morening. That will prepare your stomach to
get back to work.
- Create a photo diary of your body changes at least
once a month.
- Keep a good steady
eating program. It will
throw your body off if you skip a meal and starve yourself only to eat
more later. Avoid fasting!!!
- If you drink coffee, have about 1 or 2 cups of black
coffee up to at least 1 hour before
your workout, by doing so, it will boost metabolism and burn fat
throughout your
workout. However, just be sure to stay hydrated while working out be
drinking lots of water.
- Eating 500 calories
is the calorie deficit that is needed a day to lose a pound of fat per
week. This is possible by eating less or hitting the gym harder.
- Do ot drink milk or anyfood immediately before you
exercise.
Burn
The Fat To Get Six Pack Abs
Eat
Smaller Dinners
Try cutting down on the size of your dinners and eat
nutritional
food. Eat about 50% fruit and vegetables, then a fist-size portion of
lean meat, and with some complex carbs such as potatoes, sweet
potatoes, etc. If you are hungry, snack on
fruits or other healthy, low calorie snacks.
Eat
More Fiber
Most individuals don't get enough fiber in their diet.
The
recommended amount is actually less than you think, that is, if you eat
a healthy diet.
Fiber foods include foods such as whole
grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. Another option would be
fiber supplements.
Eat
Breakfast
People now a days skip breakfast mostly for two
reasons. One, is because their is just not enough time to eat
breakfast, and two, he or she is not in the mood to eat.
Skipping breakfast is just too
valuable to skip. Skipping breakfast decreases your ability to
concentrate and decreases other mental functions.
Lift
Weights
The more muscle that your body has, the more calories
that your body burns, even while resting.
Since you want a nice set of six pack abs to show off,
you should burn more calories then you consume.
If you do cardiovascular exercises such as running, playing basketball,
football, etc. without lifting weights then you will potentially lose
muscle
mass if you do not have a solid workout program.
In other words, to get rid of that fat quickly, lift weights and do
cardiovascular exercises as well.
Keep
Metabolism Steady
Eating a small meal about every three hours will not
speed up your metabolism, however, your metabolism will keep going.
Eating something small every three hours or so will keep your
metabolism burning calories and
will help you lose weight. Every meal should include lean
protein, so that your body won't need to break down your muscles for
fuel, which can shrink your abdominal muscles as well as slow down your
metabolism.
Drink
More Water
Every Day
Many people or personal trainers suggest 8 cups (2L) of
water a day.
It also depends on your weight and size. It sounds like an extreme
amount of water, but in reality,
this is recommended for a healthy lifestyle.
