Scarsdale Diet Low Carbohydrate Plan

The scarsdale diet is a popular diet that has been around for a while. This diet plan promises about a one pound per day weight loss by eating by eating specific, fruits, vegetable, proteins throughout a breakfast, lunch, and dinner day without snacking. Also, this diet consists of no calorie counting.

This is a strict diet plan that must be followed exactly for 14 days. These meal plans consists of eating meals with low carbohydrates, high vitamins, and high minerals. However, we do encourage a herbal appetite suppressant to controls those hunger pains.

What Is The Scarsdale Diet

The scarsdale diet plan is a low carb, low calorie eating diet plan that also consists of drinking lots of water. By drinking lots of water, you are flushing your system making it easier for the weight to melt right off.

Even though the scarsdale diet plan was primarily the first low carb diets, but it has lost its popularity to the other low carb diet plans such as the Atkins Diet and the Zone Diet.

This a strict program that must be followed exactly with NO CHEATING. This plans lasts for up to 14 days and after the 14 days, people find a good eating plan that won't put the weight back on difficult.


Exercise When Doint The Scars Diet

This plan does not recommend to do exercises for weight loss. It recommends doing no strenuous exercises for those over the age of 40, unless exercising has already been a normal daily routine.

However, this is a diet plan that has a low calorie and low carbohydrate consumption plan meaning, that your energy level will be low, so your regular daily exercising even your 30 minute a day walking might be a bit more tiring then normal.



The Scarsdale Diet Plan


The scarsdale diet plan  is a very structured and very specific diet that has to be followed pin point exactly for 14 days straight with no snacking at all. The diet plan consists of a grapefruit for breakfast to supplement you with the necessary enzymes for burning the 700 per day calorie intake diet plan.


Scarsdale Diet Tips

  1. Drink at least One gallon of water per day.
  2. Drink absolutely no sodas.
  3. You are able to add the following to your foods: herbs, pepper, lemon, vinegar, Worcestershire, soy sauce, mustard, and ketchup.

 
DIET PLAN: DAY #1
BREAKFAST
Coffee or tea with sweetner and a 1/2 of grapefruit.
LUNCH
A small amount of lean beef, chicken, or fish + tomato salad + tea.
DINNER
A broiled fish + tomato and a delicious lettuce salad + grapefruit or melon.

 
DIET PLAN: DAY #2
BREAKFAST
Coffee or tea with sweetner and a 1/2 of grapefruit.
LUNCH
Whatever amount of fruit salad + tea.
DINNER
Hamburger meat without the bread and any amount of cooked vegetables you desire.

 
DIET PLAN: DAY #3
BREAKFAST
Coffee or tea with sweetner and a 1/2 of grapefruit.
LUNCH
tuna salad and a grapefruit or a melon.
DINNER
Two (2) lean pork chops + mixed green salad + tea.

 
DIET PLAN: DAY #4
BREAKFAST
Coffee or tea with sweetner and a 1/2 of grapefruit.
LUNCH
 Two (2) eggs + cottage cheese + a 3 oz. squash + 1 toast + tea.
DINNER
Chicken without the skin + spinach or green pepper + tea.

 
DIET PLAN: DAY #5
BREAKFAST
Coffee or tea with sweetner and a 1/2 of grapefruit.
LUNCH
Whatever amount of cheese you want to eat + spinach + 1 toast.
DINNER
Broiled fish + cooked vegatables + 1 toast.

 
DIET PLAN: DAY #6
BREAKFAST
Coffee or tea with sweetner and a 1/2 of grapefruit.
LUNCH
Fruit salad + tea.
DINNER
Broiled chicken without the skin + tomato and lettuce salad + grapefruit + tea.

 
DIET PLAN: DAY #7
BREAKFAST
Coffee or tea with sweetner and a 1/2 of grapefruit.
LUNCH
Chicken + tomato and lettuce salad + grapefruit + tea.
DINNER
Lean beef + mixed salad + tea.


..........Then repeat this same process for another 7 days for best results.
