Reaction Time

Reaction TimeReaction time is the elapse time between your sensory stimulus and your behavioral response time.  Basically, it's having the ability to repond quickly to your stimulus.  There are two different types of reactions and they are "Simple" and "Choice" reaction.  Simple reaction means, the time taken between your stimulus and movement.  Choice reaction means, the time take between your stimulus and the action that requires a choice.

Very skilled and talented athletes reduces their time of reaction by choosing the most important information and by anticipating the other atletes actions.





Awareness


Your awareness in any sports is what defines your ability in timing your reaction.  Being aware of your surroundings can dictate your ability to react to certain matters in certain situation.
