Health Related Fitness


Health related fitness is a broad subject that includes everything from fitness, muscle endurance, body composition, and more!

Normally, it is oftenly divided into several different components to define our overall health status. It is usually associated with improving your health condition and your physical ability and living healthy.



Cardiovascular Related Fitness


Cardiovascular fitness is also known as STAMINA. This means, having the ability for your body to provide enough energy to sustain levels of stress during exercising and competition. 

To sustain an excess amount of energy for your body, the circulatory and respiratory must work effectively together to provide your muscles with enough oxygen.

This is a type of fitness that allows us to be active throughout the day.  It helps not only feel better, but it is also a great way to be healthy and strong.

Cardiovascular fitness helps with:
  • Metabolism
  • Improves Oxygen Flow
  • Removal of Waste Products
  • Decreasing Stress


Strength Related Fitness


Strength is extremely important, not just for any type of athletic competitions, but for everyday life as well.  We have to be strong to be able to do certain things in our everyday life such as picking up your back pack, picking up a bass guitar, and etc.....

Strength importantly helps us with our health by:
  • Avoiding any types of injuries.
  • For maintaing good posture.
  • Remain strong and not weak.




Flexibility Related Fitness


Our flexibility is usually controlled by the extended length of our muscles.  Some individuals would say that flexibility is not as important as strength and cardiovascular fitness.

However, it is just as equally important as the others becuase it allows us to perform certain moves effeciently and effectively, and it also prevents stiffness.

Daily flexibility helps out health related fitness by:
  • By preventing all kinds of injuries.
  • Improving posture.
  • Reducing lower back pain.
  • Helps by maintaining healthy joints.
  • Improves balance.


Muscular Endurance


Muscular endurance is far different from strength when it comes to health related fitness.  It's the ability of continuely to repeat muscle contractions over a significant period of time. This health related fitness is oftenly use in everyday life such as digging, walking up the stairs, and etc....





Body Composition Fitness


Body composition is normally the amount of muscle, fat, bone, cartilage, and much more that makes up our entire bodies. 

The amount of muscle and fat that our bodies carry does seem to vary from people to people. A healthy amount of body is 15%-18% for men and for women 20%-25%.

It is extremely important to maintain a healthy body percentage because of:
  • Heart Disease
  • Diabetes
  • Several Health Problems
  • Strain on the Joints, Muscles, and Bones
  • Increasing the Risk of Injuries
