The dumbbell bend exercise works out the oblique muscles of your abdominals. It's an exercise that works great for your oblique muscles. This is definetley an exercise that can and will tighten up those ab muscles.

This exercise will develop the entire oblique muscles of your abdominals if done correctly and properly.

Here are some tips to understand and implement as well as a description of how to do the exercise:

Tips:
  • Only use your hips to do the exercise
  • Do not use your arms at all to do the exercise because you will be completely wasting your time.
  • Do not move your legs when doing this exercise because that will be a completely wrong.

  Side Bend Exercise

  • Start off by standing with your feet shoulder width apart while holding dumbbells with your knees slightly bend
  • Bend your hips to the left and hold that position for about 2-3 seconds.
  • Then do the same to the opposite side.
  • Repeat the process as needed.
