Bicep Exercises To Build Huge Arms


Bicep exercises is an important training method that equally evens out all muscle groups in your arms along with your shoulders, triceps, and forearms.  When bodybuilding, who doesn't want to have some nice looking arms to the point where people compliment you by saying,

"Do you workout", and your response back will be,.......

We will be discussing about your biceps, how to avoid bad habits, exercise tips, and exercises.  You have to understand the basics when it comes to exercising your bicep muscles.  Knowing all this can be very beneficial for you on the long run as well as at the gym when training.




About Biceps


The anatomy of the biceps muscle is actually a much smaller muscle then the triceps. Your biceps are on the front of your arms. There are only two heads on the muscle.

Right beneath your biceps is the brachialis muscle, it's a flat muscle that runs half way up the bone of the upper arm from the elbow joint. From the backside you can see the brachialis real well which looks related to a horseshoe.





Avoid Bad Bicep Exercises Habits


It is essential that when you do any exercises that you perform the movements correctly, if you don’t, you will receive less then optimum benefit from the exercise. It is very difficult to unlearn bad exercise habits, so it is best to learn the right exercise technique from the very start.


Avoid Overtraining

The key to succes is, when developing a great pair of biceps is to not overtrain your smaller muscles. The arms are used as secondary muscles in a lot of other exercises such as all chest exercises, back, and shoulder exercises. For example, the biceps are being used when doing rowing movements for when your doing back workouts.

  • Do not lift beyond weight limit and never use your momentum to swing the barbell up.
  • Use light weight when training and control your momentum.
  • Use different variety's of barbells (i.e. an ez curl bar) to workout your muscles at different exercising angles.
  • You can also do a machine exercise that has a bar attached to the low cable pulley.
