Barbell Stiff Leg Deadlift Exercise


The barbell stiff leg deadlift is a great exercise and muscle building program that will not only help develop muscle growth, but also strength.  This is a great strength building exercise for all athletes including football players, baseball players, and etc.

However, if you want to become a bodybuilder, then building strong hamstrings is an essential part of succeeding.  You have to look proportion to be the best, and by having big quads and small hamstrings will definetly keep you from winning any competitions.

Here you will find a step by step description on how to properly do this exercise:




Description
  1. Firmly grab the barbell with an overhand grip about shoulder width apart.
  2. Make sure that the barbell is hanging in front of the body.
  3. While lowering the barbell to the floor, bend your knees and waist.
  4. Then, lift the barbell to its original position.
  5. It is very important to have your back straight throughout the exercise.
