Abdominal Twist Exercise

The abdominal twist exercise works out the oblique muscles and the core muscles of your abdominals. It's an exercise that works great for your core oblique muscles. This is definetley an exercise that can and will tighten up those ab muscles.

This exercise will develop the entire oblique and core muscles of your abdominals if done correctly and properly.

Here are some tips to understand and implement as well as a description of how to do the exercise:

Tips:
  • Contract your muscle during every repetition.
  • Keep your kneck straight and do not pull your kneck forward.
  • Do not twist your upper body.
  • Only move your legs by bridging them as stated in the directions.

  Twist Exercise
  • Lie on your back and extend your legs straight up.
  • Place your hands out to your sides at the level of your shoulders.
  • While keeping your upper body stable, roll your legs downward toward one side - bridging your feet toward the floor.
  • Roll your legs back up to the starting position and do the same in the opposite side.
  • Then, return to the upright position again.
  • Repeat the process as needed.
